CMM Inspection: Ensuring Zero Tolerance in Heavy-Duty Brake Caliper Machining Dimensions

For air disc brakes, the coaxiality of the caliper bracket and the piston hole, and the perpendicularity of the guide pin hole, these dimensional tolerances are usually required at the micrometer level. Once the machining dimensions exceed the standard, it will cause uneven brake wear, or even trigger serious consequences like brake deviation.

To solve this industry pain point, we invested in a high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM):
Real measurement data is better than verbal promises: We do not claim high precision externally, but directly capture the 3D coordinates of the key mounting holes of the caliper body through the CMM.
Strict calibration for heavy-duty calipers: When machining heavy-duty calipers in large batches, the wear of machine tools will produce slight deviations. Our quality team randomly selects samples every 2 hours for CMM re-checking to ensure that the machining dimensions strictly meet the OEM drawing requirements.
Our dedication to precision is to allow your fleet to avoid worrying about maintenance downtime caused by caliper machining defects during long-distance transportation.
